Glenn Piper has an extensive background in residential property investment and has helped hundreds of clients identify and secure residential investment opportunities across Australia. 

 

In 2011, Glenn founded Meridian Australia, a Sydney-based investment real estate agency that provides market insights, research and education services to property investors. Meridian Australia offers services at every stage of the property investment process, from identifying the residential property markets with the best growth outlooks and securing the most suitable properties in those markets to finding the right tenants and property managers. Glenn sits on the Meridian Investment Panel, which analyses research and data related to the housing market for Meridian clients and comprises several independent and leading property-related forecasters and economists. 

 

Meridian Australia hosts information seminars, often with leading property economists and forecasters, and shares independent analysis on the property market with its clients to help them to make informed decisions on any property investments. 

 

On a personal level, Glenn utilised Meridian's research methodology to amass an extensive property investment portfolio and has now purchased and sold over 100 residential properties in his capacity. In 2017 Glenn has expanded his skill set into property development and today has over $100m in residential property development to his name. 

 

Glenn's passion for real estate continued and in 2020 where Glenn redirected his knowledge and experience into the hospitality industry acquiring the beloved Harbord Hotel in Freshwater. Under Glenn's directorship and project management, the venue was refurbished and awarded NSW's best local Hotel by the Australian Hotel Association in 2022. Discovering a newfound passion for hospitality Glenn has rapidly expanded his portfolio with acquisitions of the state-significant heritage site known as Q Station in Manly in 2022. In the same year Glenn acquired Newcastle's local institution, the Beach Hotel Merewether closely followed by Hook Island Eco Resort in the Whitsundays. Inspired by the potential of these prime waterfront locations Glenn is actively leading the refurbishments, redevelopments and repositioning of all four venues.
