Glenn Piper established Meridian Australia in 2011 as a Sydney-based investment real estate agency. He has an extensive background in residential property investment and has helped hundreds of clients identify and secure residential investment opportunities across Australia.
Under Glenn’s leadership, Meridian provides market insights, research and education services to property investors — offering support throughout the investment lifecycle, from market analysis to property acquisition, tenant placement and property management. Glenn also serves on the Meridian Investment Panel, which evaluates housing-market data alongside independent economists.
Personally, Glenn has purchased and sold over 100 residential properties using Meridian’s own methodology — the same disciplined, research-led approach the firm applies for its clients. In 2017 he expanded into property development, overseeing more than $100m in residential development.
Since 2020, Glenn has diversified into hospitality. He acquired the Harbord Hotel in Freshwater — awarded NSW’s best local hotel by the Australian Hotel Association in 2022 — with subsequent acquisitions including Q Station in Manly, the Beach Hotel Merewether in Newcastle and Hook Island Eco Resort in the Whitsundays, each undergoing refurbishment and repositioning.
